Distillate bass toggle...

My bass toggle switch fails to give a 6db boost. Other two position fine.
So, it's either the toggle or ckt. bd.
Anyone have similar experience?

Might want to move this to the Troubleshooting section, where it'll get Mica's attention quicker.

My gut says exercise the snot out of it. If that doesn't fix it, then yeah, probably circuit board.


*on second thought (been a minute since I had a Distillate...) that's a cut/flat/boost switch. So it cuts, and it works as flat, but no boost? That sounds like a switch glitch. Flick that thing about 95 times.

Flip them back ad forth repeatedly, could take a 100 tries until they respond as they should and than use them weekly or bi-weekly.

I should probably do that too since my bass is literally always in the boost position.

Take a look at it to see if the wires are ok and the caps are intact. Very possible the switch needs to be replaced though.
