Looking for Activator PJ set and electronics
« on: June 13, 2024, 08:26:11 AM »
Hi all,

At the beginning of this year, I bought a beautiful walnut topped 1988 Persuader / Spoiler body which had its guts swapped at some point for EMGs (heresy imo). I am hoping to restore the bass to original configuration and am wondering if anyone has a P/J Activator set and filter pre just lying around that they'd be willing to sell me. I have a friend who used to work for Alembic and he's also reached out to Mica for me about getting a new set straight from them, but it's been some time and I know they're swamped, meanwhile I'm getting antsy about having the instrument I know this bass should rightly be. Just thought I'd shoot a shot here about obtaining the parts. Thank you! Pic of the bass attached.

Sorry about the troubles. I may be pretty swamped, but I answer tons of emails and calls every day, I'm just not seeing any pending requests for this. I do miss things of course sometimes.  Anyway, best is to email me directly and I can arrange for what you need if you don't find it here on the Club.

It's no trouble at all, thank you Mica for your time and response. I'll send you an email with the details.
