Nice looking bass, not ticking enough boxes for me though.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Product Specs calls it a Rogue 5 string?
Can’t make out what is going on with the pickup selector (?) switch on the lower bout.

The pickup selector looks like it lost the plastic portion of the knob. I've seen this on a few other basses. I suspect it happens when someone over tightens the set screw and cracks the plastic part which eventually falls apart.

I agree with Keith, I think the plastic part of the pointer knob has broken off.  I've been through a couple of those.  The set screws are in the metal section but the plastic takes the torque of every twist and can eventually just crack off.

That certainly is no 5-string Rogue though, don't know what happened with the listing.

Brian at LowEnd has a burl walnut Rogue 5-string for sale too, I'm guessing he got his ad copy fouled up.

*and FWIW, this bass is listed at $9999 in-store in Cane Ridge, Tennessee. (suburban Nashville) https://lowendbassshop.com/product/alembic-short-scale-series-ii-bubinga/

Technically, though... one might legitimately ask, would there be a Texas, if not for Tennessee? [trolling Joey]  ;D

This bass has some replacements such as the nut, pickups, and the addition of the strap button on the horn.  The broken off strap button screw in the back is also a bummer.
