R.I.P. Harry Belafonte
« on: April 25, 2023, 09:53:45 AM »
Harry Belafonte passed away today at 96.  A great musician and a great humanitarian who brought Calypso and island music to the masses.   A tireless champion of civil rights, and boy could he sing!   My parents had his albums and I grew up listening to his music.

Harry was definitely "one of the good ones fighting the fight" ... great singer who was blessed with long life, too. We need more humans like him... R.I.P.
