There's that poor thing again. I actually found a very old Showcase Thread on this very bass the other day while looking for something else.

Hang on a few minutes...

Nah, not the same one, but somebody did kinda' the same thing... added a second pickup to an export model Distillate. https://club.alembic.com/index.php?topic=9118.0

If it was local and not $3K, I'd like to restore it.

I do feel like we have seen this one before, with that mirror-image brass plate on the upper part of the body.
