Yeah, its the same bass.  Not sure if this shop bought it from Japan and trying to flip it....  but it should NOT have the genuine Alembic electronics.
I can't believe they left the upside logo as is....
It is a LSB, not MSB (if it was MSB, I would've bought it).   I thought this shop was pretty legit, but listing like this, really question them....

Buyer be aware!!

Yeah, Takeo san I’m really angry as well: I spoke at length with the dealer that had bought the bass here in Osaka, and the EXPRESS REASON he sold it at a low price was because the electronics were NOT Alembic’s, only the pickups were, and he explained that clearly in the sale description. HOWEVER, he was adamant I trying to say the Alembic logo came out of the shop that way, despite me telling him Alembic themselves said it didn’t and never would.

Bass Bros doing this really bums me out: the owner was very polite and helpful when I contacted him about another Series I he had….nothing worse than being insincere.

The sellers claims it’s “original electronics” and that this bass has a passive mode that gives you the neck pickup only. It doesn’t seem like they’re very familiar with Series I basses.

Hi there,

Yes original electrics, it works in passive mode on neck pickup only. This is normally how the series one basses work. It works fully on batteries

Many thanks
