Lately, the concept of professional institutional knowledge has come to mean something more to me... as I try daily to relay to another generation of future Waterworks Operators the sum of what I got from 30 years worth of people who went there and did that.

Mr. Clarke there... another fine example. What a genius. How many bass players today wouldn't be doing what they do, how they do it, if it weren't for what he did?

Excellent and well deserved. He has been a major influence on me as a bass player and how i think about using tone when playing.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Living Legend ! TIME EXPOSURE changed my life. I told Stanley that and I think he was surprised and expected me to say School Days or something. That's the first SC album I bought (it was a cassette. It was the80's) and that opening riff with Louis Johnson coming out of the right channel and Stan out of the left was a blast of blistering bass.

Congratulations, Stanley Clarke !!!
