coupla nice looking basses there.  ya can't go wrong with an essence if you're looking for high-quality neck-thru that won't break the bank.

i noticed these are both no-reserve auctions, be interesting to see what the market decides the value is.  i'm outta space in the bass room elsewise i'd think about making a play for that 6-string.

I tried to buy both of these for stock, but the guy had a meltdown when he did not see the numbers go up 5 days before the auction end.  They never do until the last ten seconds of an EBAY auction.  He told me his wife just passed away, and that he did not have his wits about him to even give me details about the basses.  I left him with an email saying I was game to pay fair market value, but he never followed up.  I moved on and found a killer 5 string Essence in figured koa for a great price instead.

Oh, so that was you!  I was somewhat interested in that Essence, but I really want a medium scale for my next purchase, so I never made an offer. It was actually up about a year ago for a hair less without the aftermarket Q switch. Really great looking bass.
