Theory: The person that bought the Alembic Activator replaced the electronics in the picture and put them in the box the Activator came in.

I emailed the ebay guy and explained that Alembic pickups are labeled “Alembic” and pickups labeled “EMG” are, in fact, EMGs.  It ain’t rocket science!
