Recuperé mi bajo alembic epic 5 que me habian robado hace años.
El serial del bajo es 96W9999, tengo unas inquietudes porque veo que hay estos bajos fabricados con cocobolo y otras maderas, esto influye en su valor? en cuanto puede estar avaludado mi instrumento por favor? veo muchos bajos epic 5 a muy bajo precio en que consiste que sean mas baratos?, gracias por la información.

The current value of your instrument depends on its condition and what the market might be for a somewhat exotic Alembic 5-string in your area.  If you are asking about a "replacement value" for insurance purposes, the least expensive new 5-string Alembic you could buy right now starts at US$9200. 

Yes, the choice of wood can effect the price of a new build.  Coco bolo for example can add quite a lot to the cost.  According to the other thread, the body of your bass is mahogany which I believe is no longer available from Alembic.  That makes your instrument rare but doesn't mean the current value would be that much higher.

We hope you plan to keep that bass and play it as much as possible.
