I would be interested in the tape specs and track configurations .

I am also interested in what the original machines were for the recordings.

Are any mylar tapes being baked in the restoration process due to sticky shed syndrome?

Glad to hear that his library is going to be preserved. I am also interested as to how the process is going/how it will be carried out. Hopefully, the final recordings will keep the unique stereo space that Bear liked to use.

Just picked up the first Journal release yesterday, I'm really blown away by Bear's sound. so different and so clean, definitely better than the sony release. Can't wait for the next one!
