5 Sting Rouge bass bocote wood top

I am the original owner if this fine bass (serial# 96Q10311) and it is in new condition.  No signs of wear or any blemishes.  Everything works smooth and quiet.  It was only used in a studio a few times (I am not a bassist) and then pretty much lived in its' case in a controlled environment.  It has a Bocote wood top and Alembic advised this bass would cost $9,800.00 to make in their custom shop and should be insured for that amount.  It sounds as beautiful as it looks.  I have taken it out a few times to consider selling it but always put it back because it was just to nice sounding to sell.  It is an Alembic and I don't think there are any finer instruments around.  Someone needs to play it more than I and so it is time. 

Anyone have interest in buying it or what the present resale market price range might be?  I am not interested in giving it away, but a fair price.

It looks like a fantastic instrument in near perfect condition as you say. I think you'll just have to be patient to find the right buyer. You might consider listing it in the Swap Shop section here, or maybe just ask one of the mods to move/merge your thread.
