Might be worth buying just to get the pickups if they are genuine. I can’t see any markings. It does not mention about electronics in the listing.

The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I would be leery.  It says "coil tapped"; I'm no electronics expert, but I'm having trouble figuring out how you coil-tap a single-coil p/up......

While the pickups look like single coils, if they are Alembic pickups, they are actually stacked hum cancelling pickups. The only thing a coil tap would do in this case is introduce hum :)

Well, that does it, they have finally built a mechanical device to replicate my sound.  I give up.
