Leaving aside aesthetic considerations, here are the main technical features of the Rogue vs other models:
1. The Rogue is closely related to the Europa as they share the same electronics (2 x MXY PUs, vol, pan, low pass filter, Q switch, quick tone change switches). From this perspective Rogue/Europa are conceptually the top of a model range that also includes Epic, Orion, Essence.
2. The other two ranges, Signature and Series, are differentiated by various combinations of neck construction, electronics packages, body shapes, and standard wood types, inlays, position markers.
3. Key differences between Rogue and Europa are:
a. Neck: Europa is the cheapest model with 3 maple / 2 purpleheart laminates as standard.
b. Scale: 35 is a no cost option on Rogue.
c. Inlay: MOP is no cost on Europa but a $200 standard option on Rogue.
3. Key differences between Rogue and Epic/Orion/Essence are:
a. Custom fingerboard width, custom scale (19 - 34) are no cost options on Rogue.
b. Signature and Series electronics are available as extra cost options on Rogue.
c. Epic/Orion have vol,pan,bass,treble standard.
d. Q switch is extra cost option on Essence, standard on Rogue. Rogue has quick tone change switches - I haven't used these, maybe someone else can comment on effect.
e. Back feature wood laminate is available as extra cost option on Rogue.
