This is for sale in Japan.  They just sent me a photo of the sn.  It looks like my old one, which I would like to have back.  Unfortunately I did not record the serial number when I owned it.  Mica, your dad rebuilt all the electronics for me before I sold it.  That’s why I want to be certain, if I can, that it is in fact the bass I used to own.  Probably a good chance, because it looks like it... but I don’t know, maybe you guys made a lot of zebra wood tops and backs back then?  Maybe, if you don’t have a build sheet, there is some record of it coming through the shop?  This would have been probably between 1997-1999?  Somewhere?  I know...  very crazy to expect you to have records of repairs like that, just giving you all the info I can.  Thanks! Allen

Photo attached, Looks like 182 to me.  Could be 183?  For some reason the picture is losing clarity when I save it.

I don't think the bass is 182 - it doesn't quite match the specifications of that bass. This one has never been back here for servicing, so it's not likely your bass either.

The photo of the serial number is super tiny - but it looks like 183 even in its small form.

The details of this 183 (which is not the bass offered for sale in Japan now) are:
top: Zebrawood
body: Mahogany
back: Zebrawood
neck: Maple and Walnut
scale: 34" long
fingerboard: Rosewood
inlays: Abalone
peghead veneers: Vermilion and Walnut
originally made for: LDH

Thanks Mica, the blurry photo does look like 183, but the clear picture looks more like 182.  But all of your other info identifies it.  Thanks a bunch!
