I think I can see where they got their design inspiration... according to the description, this is the only one made so far.

I wonder how the backplate attaches - I don't see any screws.  And the side oval dot at the 12th fret is cool.

Description says the backplate attaches with magnets. The whole backplate thing is a Pedulla thing.
