It’s time to stop kidding myself. I am a 5 string player and will not give a 4 string the attention that it deserves. I recently traded for this 1998 Alembic Epic. It’s a real beauty with, what I think is, a zebra wood top. It’s got walnut strips in the neck and has been set up / strung with a new set of Elixirs. The bass is in great shape, less some buckle rash on the backside and a single screw hole that mysteriously does not line up on the back cover (I can provide high res photos to any interested parties). The bass is very light weight for an Alembic, being just a bit over 9 lbs.
I’m looking for a 5 string Alembic - tell me what you’ve got! I can throw in some money for the right deal. I’m looking to keep this within the Cont USA, and would rather trade than sell. Thanks for looking.
