That bass sure is having a time finding a permanent job...
I thought long and hard about it, but realistically by the time I spent that much, I'd have already been in vintage Series I territory. Simultaneously, the custom fretless Distillate I'd had my eye on came up for sale in range, so I passed on this one.
But I gotta' say it wasn't easy - with that EVH body and the custom wood layup, that bass is darn close to what I'd order if I was going to do another.
