F2B preamp Fuse question
« on: October 11, 2017, 02:13:14 AM »
Hi!  First off I hope the folks at alembic are ok!  Those fires are nasty!
I have a an old blue F2B from the 70s that I have converted for 240v in Australia.  I can't for the life of me find a solid answer about the fuse value.  It has a 125v 1/2A slo-blo in it but I need to get a 250v.  The schematic in my unit is totally blurry, same with the one I found online.  I've seen F2B schematics made by people that have 1A fuses.  I can't open the manual on this site.  Anyone know for sure if it's 1/2A or 1A?
Thanks!!!

Christian, the main Alembic site is down due to the firestorm.  The forum is on a different server, so it's still working.  My F-2B manual shows the fuse value at 1/2 ampere 3AG.

Bill, tgo
