« on: April 03, 2017, 07:13:20 PM »
This bass is arriving at Bass Central in Florida very soon. I can't get over this wood - just had to share!

Amazing wood, wonderfully laid out, and a great instrument beautifully photographed!

Wow. When you zoom in and look at certain areas, it almost looks like a kaleidoscope with all of the different textures and colors going on. Very cool.

Very nice.   :)

The maple neck lams look a little darker than usual... is there a bit of color wash? Whether natural or not, that shade of maple really does set off that buckeye well.

Very nice. (already said that)   ;D

I don't generally care for buckeye burl that tends towards the yellow side but the pattern on this one looks really nice.

Beautiful!  I love the wavy grains in the darker sections and it's contrast with the lighter more traditional (in my mind) burl of the lighter sections.  Very cool!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  You guys are amazing!
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.
