Just purchased 04 Essence 4 string fretless unlined. Alembic original case. Looks to be actual bass Alembic uses to showcase Essence 'superb walnut' wood option on website. This wood is from 'superb walnut' wood bank 241 or ? Just curious. Thank you!

These are not my photo's as the bass is in transit from north of the Chicago area. I'll post some nice ones later. Really thrilled to be getting this beauty! So looking forward to it!

Sweet looking bass. The only thing that could make the top any nicer would be if it was bookmatched to center so you wouldn't lose an inch of all that walnut goodness.

LOVE the walnut on your bass.  I've got a Custom signature Deluxe with that type of walnut and it truly is superb!

Got the bass today. It's nicer than expected and way better than what pictures show! Nicely balanced and not heavy at all. Intonation is no sweat with my upright experience. The build quality is really evident. Warranty card is in the case!

Played through Orange, Ampeg, Yorkville and Gallien Krueger amps. Lots of fun.

Super happy with my first Alembic!
