Unexpectedly came across a CD of Back Door the other day. They were a jazz trio based in yorkshire in the 70s. I hadn't heard them for many years and had forgotten how good the bass player was. He was/is a guy called Colin Hodgkinson whose technique is pretty impressive - He plays alot of chords and fingerpicks over them. I believe he went on to play with Spencer davis, Alexis korner and even Whitesnake. Worth a listen if you get a chance.
