All over the place. There is no oneStarfire
The desirable ones are the late 60s with the Hagstrom bi-sonic pickup. The later ones from the 70s do not have the same cachet. The reissues from the 90s are very good, but the pickup sucks. I've had 2 of these reissues; the second fitted with Fred Hammon Dark Star pickups, which bring it to life (the Dark Stars are clones of the Hagstroms).
Owners do the same to the deArmond Korean version.
I sold a 67 Starfire 1 (single Hagstrom), with to-the-wood wear spots on the front and belt buckle rash on the back (but no functional issues at all) for 1300 in March.
The sunbursts command more - a late 60s sunbusrt Starfire 2, with just a few nicks & dings went for $1895 on ebay in Jan. I thought that was high, but have regretted not snagging it ever since.
IMHO,if you're going for one of these, either get a 60s with hagstroms, or a 90s reissue with Dark Stars.
