Cardinal Wood?

Was wondering if Alembic has ever made an instrument with this wood for a top.  I recently got some that I'm turning (literally) into Magic Wands, and it's gorgeous wood.

It could be really nice:
(Brosimum Rubescens- Central & South America) Also known as Satine and Cardinal Wood for its strawberry red to crimson red coloring

From what I can find, cardinal wood is the same as blood wood.  And the Bloodwood guitar in the custom vault may be the most stunning Alembic ever, IMHO.
