I was cruising around the Soloway site and spotted
this guitar. Noticing the strange clown vomit binding and inlays I realizing it was probably built for Henry Kaiser. Remembering that Mr. Kaiser is a rabid Activator user and that the pickups were black slabs (most Soloways have rather classic looking pickups) I checked the specs. Sure enough Alembic active pickups. Only sad thing is no sound samples. Many of the other guitars on the site have sound samples and Jim Soloway is a wonderful player. I'm fairly sure this beautiful creation sounds amazing.
