If you're thinking about throwing Alembic guts in a 335, I suggest either a studio model or a Lucielle, as the backplate on these models makes swapping the electronics less stressful!

At some point, after my Alembic custom build, I woulen't mind moding a Les Paul, but I don't think an Alembic Bridge/tailpeice will work on a caved top?

I had this custom Strat built in 1982. My friend Greg Cobb worked at Moonstone Guitars in Arcata CA. We had a reggae band called "The Vipers" so this was the "Viper Strat". It dosent have Alembic electronics yet, but one of these days it will, when I can afford it..

That is a nice strat. Always liked some of the wood binding that Moonstone has done on their acoustics.
