Hey Alembicians,
I know it ought to vary depending on age and condition, but what is the general ballpark? I am thinking of making the transition from a GK 800RB to a purely recording rig, namely a pre-amp and my Mac. I read through the pre-amp thread and it was really informative, and it makes me intuitively lean towards an all Alembic set up (F2B and a SF-2) or an Eden Navigator with something like a dbx 120 in tow. The problem is I don't know a ton about Alembic or Eden components or a great deal about subharmonic generators/synthesizers. Can you all out there in the inter-web help out in supplying information?
