Zoom 607 Bass pedal
« on: June 20, 2009, 08:45:34 AM »
Hi!
I've had this unit new for about 3 years.yeah I know I know!
Problem is.while a lot of the patches sound great, I just don't seem to see in the manual how to combine some .or all, to make the sound I want, then, to store them in a bank?
Should I just throw it away, or,enroll in a Course at NASA??

Confused

georgie..you cannot combine them as certain modules will only do one effect at a time, is the 607 the one with the pedal and black casing?
You can edit the patches and remove effects that you don't want or turn every effect off in the modules and re write the patch.
I cannot say I have experience of the 607.
I have the B2.1u which as you say has a lot of patches but I would hardly use all of them.
This unit has some nice amp models and I have edited them and copied some over to the banks i use and use an extra footswitch to jump the banks.
Mine is much better than earlier ones as it is a quality metal casing with proper footswitches.
The Zoom units have a 'cheapo' tag to them but they have the fastest switching rate and a much more powerful processor than the Boss units at usually half the price.

In the manual here   on page 18 ...is the 'storing/copying' instructions.

Does this work?

Think the problem I'm having, is how to edit and store. No doubt if I read and re read the manual, then it'll all become clear.
Terry.....this one has a champagne coloured casing, and does appear to be made from strong plastic. It seems as if it will last some time, but if not.I'll just chuck it out..........I only paid ?18 for it brand new!
Thanks Elwoodblue for the Manual tips.
I'll keep you all posted as soon as I get the time to give it some serious study.
