HMMMMMMM, showing my age here, 40 years ago today I wanted to see Jimmy Hendrix again, I was age 15 and actually got to meet him because of a friends brother Ronny Gonzolis who I wish to thank,  worked as a stage hand at Woolsey hall New haven CT. I love the show and had heard that Hendrix was performing at a Concert that was to be called Woodstock, so myself and 3 other friends drove with a friends older brother to purchase an $ 8.00 ticket.

Well when the concert was under a week away, they announced that it was going to be a free show, so we left that Wednesday night and got there thursday due to traffic was backed up all the way across the George Washington bridge, but it was worth it because my $8.00 investment allowed me to see many Bands and the fact that I had a very trusting Mom to allow me to go.
A few things happened to me that weekend, had a great time hearing Music, had my first dose of Electric Cool aid because everything there was spiked and got woken up around 6am this morning by Jimi playing the Star Spangled Banner.
When I got home I had lost my summer Job because I didn't show up for work and to this day in a fireproof Box I have this to show for it because it never got used, I left it home at my Mom's house and never took it with me. When they sold my mom's house my sister found a box in my old Bedroom that my mom put together with all my stuff in it, and this was there in mint Condition with a fairly low ticket number
Yes it was Peace, Love and Music and more and I am thankful I got to experience it all, came home stinky muddy and smelly but I do it again if I could.
