I was wondering what those of you out there think of Jack Bruce's new studio release, Silver Rail? Not an Alembic player but a musician who back in day probably influenced as many bassists as anyone.

Haven't gotten it YET.
It HAS to be good - it's Jack!
Is his voice still holding up?

I haven't had a chance to closely listen to it yet (played it while working on something) but from what I heard his voice while hasn't born the test of time as well as his fingers. It sounded very thin to me although that could be a result of the recording.
