That's a beautiful and unusual Spoiler, but...I'd have to agree that the asking price is quite steep. Though people are entitled to ask anything they want for an instrument they are selling that doesn't mean that the instrument's value matches the price. Personally, unless I found a Spoiler that I just couldn't keep my hands off of, $1,800-$1,900 would be the most I would pay. My Distillate cost me $1,900 two years ago and was in perfect condition and the guy from whom Yoga purchased his Distillate is selling a Brown Bass for $3,500.
Unless you plan on keeping an instrument for life, you don't want to find yourself in a situation similar to many homeowners today in which your bass is worth a lot less than you paid for it (unless of course you decide to have a new one built and then at least you know your never going to get back what you've paid).
