It looks as though the original pickups were cast as clear and replaced with black ones.

Wouldn't the strap keep you from getting to the upper most frets? Seems like the strap holder is a bit far up towards the neck, no?

How can the Johnny Winter guitar be 75-689 if my Series 1 is 76-476?  I thought all Alembic serial numbers run sequentially, regardless of model.
