Elan with rub-on lettering - GENUINE THIS TIME!

Remember the fake Elans with rub on lettering? I am not sure if the big ALEMBIC at the body is rub on but it sure looks hokey. Beautiful bass otherwise!

The bass was posted here previously.

By the way, the earliest Spoilers had a genuine rub-on logo and Spoiler script.

How long ago was that here, Adriaan?

Yes, I remember the lettered Spoilers. This lettering reminds me of Kubicki somehow.

Can't seem to find it right now, but I clearly remember the lettering - it makes that Elan look cheap. Now if you know what type of remover fluid to use ...

The Elan is actually mine that I am selling on ebay.  The lettering appears to be a pressure sensitive adhesive backed lettering much like a bumper sticker.  The letters are black vinyl.  I bought this bass used 2 years ago and the lettering was on it when I purchased it.  I never removed the letters, but I am sure they would come off very easily.
