has an Alembic p pickup in the neck, and looks like an older Alembic soapbar

Good Spotting! I looked at this one earlier and did not spot the Alembic pickups.

That fretboard looks awfully Alembic-ish, too.

Good call on the fretboard- I totally missed that in trying to figure out the pickups. Looks like the same person who inlayed the scorpion on the headstock and carved the front also decided to add those ovals.

oh nice call, this would be a prety interesting bass to own, is that an older alaembic in the bridge position?
