Odd, since they are pretty clean as is. And losing a channel seems like a bad idea as well. Anyone can cascade these for an extra stage of gain without much trouble. Oh well, to each his own.

I saw that as well and shook my head and thought NOT FOR ME
I need two identical channels for my applications to run a Series Bass dual channel.

I use two F-1X's for my Distillate series ((see Chalies Distillate)

Two F-1X's work well and you get the DI/ XLR . I have done that with my Series I as well .
