Yeah MIke thats same one....Turned into a professional rehearsal band with a revolving door of players...Thinking back this was the first time this lineup played together...was pretty promising.

To be honest Im not really that sure.

It would have either been my SCSD, or my coco-bolo SII. Based on the way it cuts through the mix Im tempted to say it is my SII.

It was recorded using a sony pcmd50, and my amp consisted of a single bagend 15 cab, and a mesa walkabout head that is like 12 years old or so at this point.

Aren't the new wave of mini recorders amazing? Sure wish I had one of these 40 years ago when I started going to Dead shows!

I remember back in the early 1980's when I worked for CBS Specialties I sold quite a few Sony TCD-5M recorders to folks who wanted a decent small recorder. It was a so called high end cassette unit and quite pricy at the time. These units were popular among the GD recorders .
