Whitby World Music Festival
« on: October 20, 2006, 11:14:24 AM »
I'm performing again with Apache Indian at the Whitby Musicport, World Music festival this weekend 21st October.
As I have done for almost a year now, I will be taking my Orion guitar with me and will try to get some photo' taken also.

According to the web site, the Friday and Saturday night is sold out. I'm not sure how many people that represents but it sure makes for a good night on stage.

For more info on our future gigs and appearances visit Apache's web site at www.karmasound.com

Just to let you guys know. There is soon to be a commercial dvd available from the tour I did last year 2006,  with Apache Indian.

It's due for release on 5th June on DVD and will be available from Amazon in the USA as well as other places... hopefully.

here is a link to the current place holder on Amazon.
Apache Indian and the Reggae Revolution: Time for Change (2007)

I've seen a proof copy and its the concert where I'm playing my Alembic Orion Guitar that I used almost exclusively on the road last year.
If I recall correctly one of the forum members was also there at the gig with his daughter and took some pictures.

Go here, click on References, then click on the third button from the left.  This isn't from the DVD, but more shots of that Orion!

ouch..... strange as it sounds. I don't mind being filmed but I hate seeing myself on playback.
LOL

Well the DVD is now released and in the shops. I haven't got my copy yet but look forward to it.
It's called Apache Indian & The Reggae Revolution: Time For Change - DVD

I'm quite chuffed with the whole idea of being on a commercial DVD. It's a first for me so I hope it sells well and I can save the pennies towards a Series Bass or guitar. LOL

Call me sad but I have to find it on stock in a record shop and see it there in the flesh. hahahaha

It's just a shame the production company didn't ask me for any info for the cover credits as I would have asked them to put my name and instrument would be not be guitar, it would be Alembic Orion Guitar.

Thanks dave, I like that one very much too.
I haven't watched it yet. I did see a pre-release version a while ago but that was a rough copy. Unfortunately my dvd packed up recently so will have to gate crash one of my mates with a dvd player to watch it.

Thanks again for your support.
