Hi Al
sweet bass. That wine burst is a great finish.

Al,
That is one hot looking bass.  It was mentioned to me recently that the Europa's contours might be what I'm looking for.  Does it feel well balanced when you're playing it?
Enjoy!!

Willi, thanks for the feedback.
If anyone out there in Alembicland is interested in parting with their Europa, feel free to contact me directly.

Al:

Lookin' sharp!  I generally prefer natural wood, but I really like the burst with the quilting undertones on your baby.  Is it maple?  By the way, is that a pile of bobbleheads on the left?

Lowlife,

The contours of the Europa are perfect for me, as is the neck.  I was looking for a Jazz Bass with Alembic quality and tone, and the Europa delivers.  And it balances beautifully - not too heavy, nice 2 o'clock position.  Buy one and you won't be sorry.

Bill, tgo:

Yes, those are bobbleheads.  Ohio State bobbleheads in fact (Woody Hayes, Jim Tressel, Archie Griffin, and Matt Wilhelm).

Regards,

Alan

Hi Alan,

I love your bass!

I know that some folks around here will consider this sacrilege, however, when the time comes, I?d like to have a custom Further in Vintage Wineburst, and have my Persuader refinished the same??

Alembic?s bursts are sooooooo beautiful.  Pictures don?t even come close to showing them off.
