In the Signal Path thread, Hollis brought up the subject of reverb units. I have an Alesis Midiverb in my rack. I only use the reverb, I don't need the other effects. The Midiverb has several useful parameters for fine tuning the reverb you want but it's impractical to make such fine adjustments between songs on stage. You have to have all your tweaking done ahead of time and saved as presets. What I think I would really like is a reverb unit with knobs so that each reverb paramater has its own knob and I can walk over between songs and just tweak a knob or two and I'm set. Hollis also mentioned the quality of the sound from the Midiverb and though I don't use a lot of reverb, when I do turn it up I do seem to notice that it starts to sound a little unmusical. Anybody have recommendations for reverb units? Anybody seen a good one with knobs?

Thanks Hollis; it looks very interesting. Is this what you use with your Skylark? I'm not sure I could justify the price for a new one and I don't see any used.

I use it in my studio rack. The Skylark sounds very sweet through it. Of course, the Skylark sounds very sweet without it. It's a very well built piece of gear.....It's not surprising you don't find many used ones for sale.
