Son of Thor Band

Well guys, I've been hanging around here for some time now but I've never really let you people know what I do with my bass(s).  Recently I've been starting to digitize some of the tapes that my brothers and I have made over the years, and although this stuff is far from mainstream I thought some of you might find it interesting.  Ok, now the disclaimers!  We play together usually three times a year, for a couple days each time.  We haven't had a drummer in the last 10 years at least.  It's usually bass, guitar, and keyboards, though some of the tapes also include a violin and another guitar player.  Also there is always plenty of beer and, um, other stuff, that may influence our playing abilities.  Most of our jams are completely unplanned, people just start playing and explore.

I don't recommend that anyone listen real close, if you just play it in the background once in a while you might notice something interesting happen...

I don't know if there's a way to link to an mp3 in this forum so if these links don't work you will have to paste them into your browser.

I've been listening to all 17 minutes of the 'second half of a jam' and I really liked what I heard. Exactly the music I like to make and listen to myself. Keep up the good work, and please let me/us know when you have a CD out!

Nice jams.  Let me know when you get a drummer and tour the Bay Area!

Wow, my thanks for all your kind words!  If you're interested there's more here:

Making a CD, yeah I'm actually thinking about making a CD something like the Zappa Shut Up... series.  Just fade into the good parts and fade back out.  It's a lot of work though.

Anyone know a drummer in southeast NH?
