Huh,
I find it strange that a person writing a review for a product starts the review with 2 stars and Just Kiddng and then makes the statement that he could never afford one of these instruments I am an instrument builder myself and find it ironic that a person can write a review after playing ONE of my instuments. Many details come into play when it comes to the tone of an instrument, Construction, Wood, Nut Material, Saddle Material, Setup, ect, In my case does Brazilian Rosewood sound better than Mahogany? Absolutly not! wood in my case determines the overall sound of the guitar therefore if I am looking for a bright sounding Bluegrass guitar I would go with Mahogany. If on the other hand I was looking to get a well balanced mellow sounding guitar I would go with Rosewood. EVERY Alembic I have ever played, heard, and now own, is first and foremost a top quality instrumnet in every way that I desire, Fit, Finish, Tone, I could have purchased a less costly instument for sure but the sacrifices I would have had to make with what is important to me were not worth the price difference. Just my rant and two cents
