My Series 1 recognized................ALMOST

I played my Series 1 last Saturday night, as I was walking of the stage I guy came up and said that is the neatest bass he's ever seen, and then he said ....... I didn't know Gibson made a bass like that
 
all I could say was they don't and Thanks

Oh my god..and I have thought I have owned a Gibson Ripper bass since 1998..I thought the logo looked strange!!!
