James Taylor featuring Jimmy. Wonderful music.

Too bad they forgot to film Jimmy a bit more. But I guess that's the story of his life, and hell, it works fine for me, because despite his constant lack of spotlight attention (picture wise, not music wise) I think he is one of the best bass players around. He really knows his role as a bass player and knows perfectly what's best for a song. I also think his modesty and down to earthness, combined with his tremendous capability as a bassist makes me respect him even more. Truly an example for many.
Respect.

Another great DVD featuring Jimmy is the Lifetime Achievment Award for Steve Gadd.  There are a couple of nice scenes where Rick Marotta thanks Jimmy for helping him during the rehearsals.  What's really cool is when he introduces the band and thanks Jimmy publicly!

Jimmy is shown quite a bit in the rehearsal footage and during the playing portion of the show.
