Stratoblaster question

Is the stratoblaster only suitable for guitars with strat setups, or could it work for guitars with only one or two single coils?

Im sure it would work, but make sure it will fit in the jack plate you have on your guitar. I dont see too many non-strat guitars with jacks like that.
