Hi, all. I saw a video the other day of someone with a fender style bass using a string mute. It sat close to the bridge, and by using a little lever could either press against the strings or be out of the way. On my non-Alembic basses, I sometimes stuff some foam under the strings, or do the Carol Kaye tape with foam over the string thing. There's not really any room on my bass between the bridge and the pickup, and I'd rather not use tape. Are there any commercial mutes that you know about that are appropriate for Alembics? Thanks!
