Yes. I feel the same about my Distillate. I wonder if he's going to have them made in China? The last sentence reads: "The future of guitar pickups is about to chang".

I wouldn't be surprised since he has a factory in China for making his PJB brand of gear.

Just about every electric guitar pickup works on the same theme: wire wrapped around a magnet.  The only electric guitar pickup I’m aware of that doesn’t follow this design is the Fishman Fluence, a stack of thin plates.  (I’m excluding acoustic pickups, like piezo and other internal mics and sensors). It will be interesting to see a truly new design.

How did you guess?

I tried to get a new battery via the UK distributor but they were unable to source one, then tried their service guy, again no avail. Actually the battery failed first, then i was using it via usb, then that socket broke and could not be fixed. Still hoping at some point it can be repaired as it is a great sounding unit.

Using mine via usb. If you find a fix, let me know. It does sound great.
