David, I worked up a brass plate for your bass. If this suits you, message me your address and I'll mail it out tomorrow when I run into town.

You can see it modeled here on an SG guitar I'm working on for the store. It should drop right in where your switchplate is now. Be sure and save that piece along with those two screws somewhere. This has some 3M double-sided adhesive on the back of it, just peel the backing and stick it in the recess. I would recommend you clean the surface it's going to adhere to with some alcohol on a swab and then blot dry first.

If you'd still rather have a wood one made, I'll see if I can find some zebrawood. I'm sure they have some, just not something I use much of.
