Distillate Guitar; on Reverb
« on: February 21, 2025, 05:12:35 AM »
I've always had a soft spot for these made-for-export Distillate guitars. I'm out of the market now, but there is one out there someone modified to accept a set of Alembic TC/AE-1 activators. It was brilliantly done, and intrigued me. I'd make an exception if it ever showed up again. This one though, straight up stock. Checked finish on zebrawood and all. 9 volt plug and play joy.

*Here was that modified Distillate-caster.

Price dropped to $2925 on this one. That's a pretty nice axe for that price. Original hardshell case, strap. Again, I just ain't in the market for one anymore. Happy with mine. I oughta' get it out a play it today!

This one finally sold, and I'm glad. FWIW, I'd say for around $2,500, because that's close to what the last Reverb "Offer" I got was... I figure a motivated seller accepted that quickly. I think this was a very nice guitar at that price too.

Just watching with interest. I wonder if an export Distillate bass like this would have sold for more, or any faster?
