Hi guys, here we go again. I'm considering selling my 4 string Elan Plus ( Europa/Rogue Electronics)
It has been refinished by Jaydee custom guitars a couple of years ago where the original purple colour was removed and resprayed to show the quilted maple top and plain maple back.
It has brand new cream pickups and Q-switch from Alembic and new chrome plated brass knobs from Maximum Guitar works. I can replace them with the original knobs if preferred. Also If the buyer prefers the original black pickups they can be swapped in place of the cream pickups.
Pictures show the bass with both types of pickups and some photos from when it was see through purple.
The bass is currently fitted with D'addario Chrome flatwound strings and the bass looks nearly new and with all that maple and double P-style pickups it seems to have a much clearer sound than the AXY or MXY pickups. In fact with roundwounds, the filter wide open and the Q-switch on, to me it is pretty close to the clarity of a series bass but not the tonal diversity. I'm not desperate to sell but someone answered a message I placed a while ago looking for a series II shorty and I have a personal one-in one out policy so it's unlikely i will buy it unless i sell this bass. Willing to ship internationally.
