Yeah it does and if i'm honest it's my favourite and I would love to treat it to a conversion to series II.  Bump to alembic for a series I to II conversion kit. ;-)
I already have a stash of dual gang pots (although not sure if they are master volume pots), so possibly would just need to convert the Q switches to CVQ's.

Maybe talk to George’s father, I think he converted one of his to CVQ switches.

Well here’s to another anniversary with this beauty. I have had a conversation with George’s dad a while back but he has moved off the mainland so it’s not as convenient to organise. I have had enough time with it now so can cope with it being a series I. 👍🏾🤣 That said I wouldn’t mind a larger q-boost on the 3rd position of the neck pickup, or replacing it with a 4 position switch like the pickup selector. Maybe i will pop that idea into the dreaming for now section.
